To support its development. Admiral is looking for: Consultant Data Architect
Role:
-
Lead information roadmap development and management processes aligned with business and data office direction.
-
Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of complex data systems and solutions.
-
Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models to support data analysis and business intelligence.
-
Build and maintain long-term data architectures that align with business needs.
-
Define and manage standards, guidelines and processes to ensure end-to-end data lifecycle management activities (e.g. data quality, data security, design guidelines, etc.).

Ensure technology solutions conform to data architecture principles and target state.
-
Work with IT teams, business analysts and data analytics teams to understand data consumer needs and develop solutions.

Lead and consult with data designers and data solution architects.
-
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for data management, storage and analysis.
Required Skills:
-
Bac+4/+5
-
More than 2 years of experience in a related field
-
Ability to relate architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs.
-
Experience with database management technologies (e.g. AWS, DataBricks, Snowflake, SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, and Hadoop).
-
In-depth understanding of advanced information management concepts such as MDM, enterprise key management, data reprocessing, advanced analytics/machine learning, and metadata management.

Experience with data integration techniques, design patterns and BI tools
-
Ability to regularly learn and adopt new technologies.

Experience developing reference architectures, principles and standards
-
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and work with various project teams.

Experience in data warehousing, data modeling and/or data analysis.

Experience with data management, data integration and database development techniques.
-
Proficiency in data management processes and the data management life cycle.

High degree of business acumen in a specific functional area for relevant data areas (e.g. finance, customer relationship management, insurance processing).

High degree of learning agility in database technologies, data modeling techniques, and data management practices.
-
Curiosity in learning the data components of specific areas of the business.
-
Effective ability to communicate data concepts.
