To support its development. Admiral is looking for: DevOps Engineer

tasks:

  • Administers deployment, monitoring, and operations tools, as well as troubleshoots and resolves issues.

  • Help define automated monitoring, deployment and repair strategies using a wide variety of operational tools and monitoring platforms

  • Mentors teams to help improve their processes.

  • Ensures that the build and deployment processes follow known best practices.

  • Help with the management and performance of the infrastructure and the deployment of development tools for the applications.

  • Evaluates third-party software tools and libraries for client needs with risk management.

  • Diagnoses, isolates and debugs application problems and performs troubleshooting.

  • Monitors systems capacity and performance to enable high performance scaling if needed.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills:

  • Bac+4/+5

  • More than 2 years of experience in a related field

  • Ability to relate architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs.

  • Experience with database management technologies (e.g. AWS, DataBricks, Snowflake, SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, and Hadoop).

  • In-depth understanding of advanced information management concepts such as MDM, enterprise key management, data reprocessing, advanced analytics/machine learning, and metadata management.

  • Experience with data integration techniques, design patterns and BI tools

  • Ability to regularly learn and adopt new technologies.

  • Experience developing reference architectures, principles and standards

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and work with various project teams.

  • Experience in data warehousing, data modeling and/or data analysis.

  • Experience with data management, data integration and database development techniques.

  • Proficiency in data management processes and the data management life cycle.

  • High degree of business acumen in a specific functional area for relevant data areas (e.g. finance, customer relationship management, insurance processing).

  • High degree of learning agility in database technologies, data modeling techniques, and data management practices.

  • Curiosity in learning the data components of specific areas of the business.

  • Effective ability to communicate data concepts.
